Pålsson's playing makes for an unforgettable experience. Recipient of many awards since he burst on the scene as a child prodigy, he has recorded some 25 CDs. In 2010, he created a sensation when he played all 32 Beethoven sonatas within 12 days. This series attracted unstinting praise and was sold out. 'Pålsson is a pianist of genius' (Svenska Dagbladet). Many other such tributes have been paid, internationally, to the depth and lyricism of his playing.
Many consider Hans Pålsson one of the great pianists of our time. Hans has been elected a Member of the Swedish Royal Academy and is often invited to act as Juror on major Piano competitions. He is attached to the Univerisity of Lund as Director of Master Classses.
The Hopkins Literary Festival is honoured to have him perform in Newbridge College Theatre.
